Sturminster Marshall preschool is a charity, committee run preschool. There are many roles to be considered within the board of trustees. They provide support and guidance to the Manager as well as having overall responsibility for finances, the upkeep of the building and preschool environment, employment of staff and overseeing the curriculum. In addition to these duties, trustees help to shape the strategic direction of the preschool, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice standards. Their collective efforts are vital in maintaining a nurturing and safe environment where children can thrive and staff feel well supported.

Our AGM is held annually in October. They also meet a minimum of once a term to discuss the strategic direction of the preschool.
Sturminster Marshall Preschool is part of the Early Years Alliance therefore the committee is run by their constitution model Constitution 2011
