Our Team Qualifications and Training

Commitment to Excellence in Early Years Care

Team Overview

We are proud to be a highly qualified and experienced team, comprising four core practitioners and two regular bank staff members. Our collective expertise ensures that we deliver outstanding care and education for young children in our setting.

Early Years Qualifications

All team members hold, one is training for, a full and relevant Early Years qualification. This underpins our commitment to best practice in the sector and ensures that every child benefits from knowledgeable and skilled practitioners who understand the developmental needs of young children.

Safeguarding Training

Safeguarding children is at the heart of our work. All staff have completed safeguarding training and continue to update their knowledge and skills every two years. This routine updating guarantees that our team remains fully informed of the latest guidance and statutory requirements, providing a secure and protective environment for all children in our care.

Prevent Training

In addition to safeguarding training, all staff have undertaken Prevent Duty training, equipping them with the knowledge to recognise and respond to potential risks of radicalisation and extremism. This further enhances our ability to protect children and uphold a safe, inclusive setting that promotes British values and respect for all.

Paediatric First Aid

Safety and wellbeing are paramount. Every member of our qualified staff team is certified in Paediatric First Aid, with requalification undertaken every three years. This ensures that, in the event of an emergency, all staff are prepared to respond swiftly and effectively, safeguarding the health of every child.

Food Hygiene and Allergy Training

All of our staff are comprehensively trained in allergy awareness. Each core team member holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, demonstrating their expertise in safe food handling and maintaining high standards of health and safety during snack and mealtimes. In addition, our practitioners have completed thorough allergy awareness training, enabling them to confidently manage a variety of food allergies and dietary needs. This dual focus ensures that every child in our care benefits from safe, knowledgeable, and attentive handling of food, with robust procedures in place to prevent cross-contamination and respond effectively to individual requirements. Parents can trust that our team’s extensive training covers every aspect of food safety and allergy management, supporting each child’s wellbeing with competence and care.

Summary

Our commitment to professional development and rigorous training demonstrates our dedication to providing the highest standard of care and education. Parents and carers can be confident that their children are in safe, knowledgeable, and caring hands.
