Visiting
We welcome all families to come and have a look around and get a feel for us. Choosing a setting that’s right for your child is a deeply important one, so encourange parents to visit various settings...we all offer something different.
Please call or email to book a visit with us. The manager will give you a tour, and answer any questions that you may have.
Registering and Reserving a Place
We do not charge any fee for you to reserve your child's space. You must however return the registration forms before your child can start with us. On some occasssions, we may be able to offer an immediate start. We can also reserve a space for the following term, or year, once we have received the registartion form.
Settling In
Settling session
Closer to your child's start date we can offer a short settling session 9am-12pm, where your child can stay with or without you, and can settle in their new surroundings. Rest assured, if you choose to leave them, we will contact you throughout the morning, through every step of the way. You know your child the best and we follow your lead, ensuring a smooth transition. Our staff are always on hand to offer reassurance and support, using gentle encouragement to help your child engage with their peers and activities at their own pace. We encourage you to share any routines or comfort items your child may have, as these familiar things can help ease their transition and make them feel more at home during their first visits.
On the first day
Every child is different and we will work with you to make it a positive first day. It may take your child longer to settle than the first day so please speak with the Manager so we can support you. We understand that separation can sometimes be emotional, and our team will do their utmost to make the experience as comfortable as possible for both you and your child. Updates will be provided if needed, and you are welcome to call us at any time for reassurance.
